I provide a clinical supervisory service for counsellors and other health and wellbeing professionals, to enable them to comply with BACP and NCS guidelines.
MY APPROACH
I use the supervisory 7-eyed model, developed by Proctor, who referred to it as a 'co-operative enterprise between colleagues'.
It focuses on 3 distinct areas, or 'lenses':
Formative - which relates to educating the supervisee
Normative - where I monotor standards and working safely and ethically
Restorative - which covers the supervisee's personal wellbeing.
