Counselling for Teens is run by Sharon Meredith, FdA.
Helping teenagers and young people is my passion.
I provide a warm, safe place to talk confidentially (either in person in Gloucester, or virtually via Facetime, etc.) while I sensitively explore the reasons behind your emotional distress.
I then help by giving you coping strategies - both for yourself and for the rest of your family - to help everybody work together better.
I started counselling with children and young people in 2014, although I am also qualified to work with adults. In addition to my private practice, I am also a senior counsellor and team leader at Teens in Crisis for Gloucestershire.
I've been where you are!
My passion for counselling children and young people came from growing-up with a disability myself.
This often made me feel different and less able when I was at school and in my teens, so I've got personal experience of the struggles and challenges that young people face.
